The Shrouded Sky update has already reshaped ARC Raiders with hurricanes, new enemies and balance changes. One detail not listed in the patch notes is driving the community: strange flying objects spotted over Topside.

Blue lights among the clouds

Players have shared clips showing, during the Hurricane Map Condition, loud noises coming from the sky. Looking up reveals:

  • Groups of moving blue lights
  • A large silhouette hidden in the clouds
  • A rapid pass across the map

The object appears enormous, but the storm cover prevents a clear view.

New enemy incoming?

The prevailing theory is that Embark Studios may be teasing a larger-scale enemy, possibly a boss tied to a future event.

Some raiders climbed to high vantage points to get a better look, but so far no one has interacted with or approached the object.

Atmospheric set piece or narrative hint?

It could be a purely atmospheric element to raise tension during storms. Still, in modern live services, details like this rarely feel accidental.

Given that Shrouded Sky added new ARC threats and shifted focus toward a more PvE-driven experience, a narrative expansion remains a plausible possibility.

Speculation grows

The community is debating: global event? New faction? Flying boss? No official confirmation yet.

One thing is clear: the skies over ARC Raiders have never felt more unsettling.
