Bruno Mars moved quickly to stamp out a small social media fire after a screenshot circulated suggesting he had liked an Instagram reel that called Taylor Swift "talentless." He did not let that narrative stand for long.

Bruno's public reply

On March 15 Bruno posted on X: "Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me," and added with a red heart emoji, "Only love over here." Minutes later he posted again, writing, "Spread Love on these apps!"

Taylor has not publicly responded to the allegation. The two have crossed paths before. After meeting at the Met Gala, Taylor said in a 2011 interview that she hoped to write with Bruno and that he was open to collaborating.

Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert's quick duet

In other music news, Kacey Musgraves explained how a duet with Miranda Lambert came together. Kacey, who finalized her divorce from Ruston Kelly in 2020, spotted Miranda riding a horse on Instagram and joked that they shared two things: horses and divorces. She reached out, Miranda agreed, and the pair wrote the song in a few hours. Kacey said they "aired out any of the old laundry" and had a lot of laughs while writing.
