A Canadian activist and YouTuber has posted footage of what appears to be a traffic jam at sea in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategically important shipping routes. Not exactly the kind of place where you want a bottleneck.
The video was filmed during a tour aboard a ship leaving the Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas. In the footage, dozens of oil tankers and cargo ships can be seen crowding the narrow waterway, underscoring just how busy the passage can get.
