Riot Games has revealed its 2026 April Fools' skin lineup for League of Legends, arriving with Patch 26.7 on April 1. Last year’s favorite was Pengu Garen, a free, limited-time skin. This time the collection is mostly purchasable and leans into silly, obvious fun.

The skin roster

Bubble Bash Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank becomes a bubble-powered toy with sticky-hand arms that fit his grab ability perfectly. Expect bright colors and toy-like animations that make his grabs look even more ridiculous.

Pug Trainer Sejuani

Sejuani swaps her mount for a giant pug that strongly evokes earlier pug-themed jokes in the game. Her ice flail is replaced by a huge chew toy, which is exactly the level of seriousness April Fools content should have.

Fried Chicken King Swain (Legendary)

The set’s legendary entry turns Swain into a Colonel Sanders-inspired character. The skin adds a cheeky recall animation where he strips his shirt, and his bird wings become fried chicken wings during his ultimate. This is a callback to previous fried chicken-themed April Fools skins in the game’s history.

Choncc Tahm Kench

Tahm Kench gets an adorable onesie modeled after Choncc from TeamFight Tactics. The onesie includes a golden spatula zipper nodding to past April Fools and URF references, and the overall vibe is very cuddly and intentionally silly.

Surprise Party Vex

Vex, the melancholic yordle, receives an ironic Surprise Party skin that dresses her as a sad clown. This is the third Surprise Party skin after versions for Fiddlesticks and Amumu.

Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser (Mythic / Prestige)

The mythic prestige skin recasts Mordekaiser as a nightmare corporate boss. He wears a suit, his mace displays a stock portfolio, and instead of dragging foes into another realm his ultimate traps them in a gray, soulless office. The skin leans into a grim, satirical take on capitalism.

Pricing and how to get the Prestige skin

Most of the new April Fools’ skins are listed at 1350 RP, which is roughly eleven US dollars. Fried Chicken King Swain is a Legendary skin priced at 1850 RP, around sixteen US dollars.

The Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser will not be sold directly. Prestige skins are special variants of mythic cosmetics and are typically earned through event rewards or the Mythic Shop. The primary route is as the final reward on the event pass, which comes in tiered versions priced at 1650 RP, 2650 RP, or 3560 RP. Higher tier passes offer extra rewards and faster progress toward the skin.

If you miss the event, the prestige skin can appear in the Mythic Shop for Mythic Essence. Mythic Essence is a rare currency earned from loot boxes, The Sanctum, battle passes, or by leveling up. Players receive 10 Mythic Essence every 50 levels starting at level 150. There are also extremely low chances to obtain Prestige skins from random loot: 0.04% in Hextech Chests and 0.06% in Orbs.

Final notes

The collection leans into obvious, silly themes while offering one more serious, prestige-style cosmetic for completionists. The skins go live with Patch 26.7 on April 1.
