Getting Eevee in Pokopia is easy. Getting all eight of its glamorous evolutions is the kind of long-term obsession that will ruin your free time in the best possible way. Here’s a short, slightly sarcastic roadmap to catching vibes and summoning every Eeveelution to your new town.
How to reach Palette Town (the place where chaos meets cuteness)
First, you must get to Palette Town. It’s an endgame-style area where you can go wild with creativity and mess around with GameShare if that’s your thing.
What you need: the Rock Smash ability. That unlocks within the first hour or so of the game. Once you have it, head to the Pokémon Center in the Withered Wasteland (it may look derelict or fixed up depending on your story progress), turn left toward the west, and find the broken wooden bridge on your path.
Move through the gap, keep left, and you’ll spot a long bridge leading to another island. There’s a gap between the islands, but you can swim and jump up without repairing the bridge. If you haven’t finished the main story, the game may warn you to get more knowledge when you try to cross. You can ignore that warning if you like living dangerously.
How to get Eevee
Once in Palette Town, look for the Pokémon Center on the right after you go a short distance forward. Interact with the PC in the Center. The game will tell you about what makes Palette Town special and let you give the area a custom name. It also unlocks a set of special challenges.
Shortly after fiddling with the PC, Eevee will wander over and become your friend. Eevee’s Pokédex entry notes that it prefers a Pretty Flower Bed (Wildflowers x4), likes warm spots, and has the Trade specialty, meaning it can swap items with you at a cash register. Plants, flowers, and comfy tables = good vibes.
How to get all the Eeveelutions (yes, all of them)
Eevee will tell you it woke up without its pals. Those pals are the Eeveelutions, and bringing them back is tied to the special challenges the Pokémon Center PC gave you. There are eight special challenges total. You can find them on the PC under your daily challenges.
Complete a special challenge and you get a food or drink reward. Place that item on any table and chair in your town and it creates the habitat that summons the matching Eeveelution. All these challenges must be completed inside Palette Town.
Challenges and rewards (the neat checklist you didn’t know you needed)
- Sylveon: Discover 10 Pokémon — Reward: Ribbon Cake
- Espeon: Invite a Pokémon to live with you — Reward: Afternoon Tea Set
- Vaporeon: Plant and grow 12 different kinds of flowers — Reward: Soda Float
- Leafeon: Plant and grow 50 vegetables — Reward: Sandwiches
- Flareon: Build 15 structures — Reward: Pizza
- Umbreon: Build a road with 300 blocks — Reward: Chocolate Cookies
- Jolteon: Power 50 items with electricity — Reward: Fried Potatoes
- Glaceon: Set up five lifts — Reward: Shaved Ice
So the strategy is simple and oddly domestic: do the task, collect the edible reward, put that snack on a table, then watch an Eeveelution appear like it was invited via edible RSVP. It is wholesome, a little silly, and absolutely perfect for themed town decor.
Good luck making Eevee’s social life whole again. Bring snacks, build stuff, plant everything, and try not to scream when the Shaved Ice arrives and Glaceon shows up like a polite winter breeze.
