NetEase is rolling out Deadpool skins tied to 12 partnered esports teams in Marvel Rivals as a direct way to support the game’s competitive scene. This coincides with the second season of the Marvel Rivals Ignite tournament series, which steps up the publisher’s push into esports.
When the bundles arrive
The partnered team bundles go live in Marvel Rivals on March 26 at 19:00 PT / 22:00 EDT, one day before the Preseason tournaments kick off in each region. The Preseason events begin on March 27, forming the early stages of this year’s competitive circuit.
What’s in each bundle
Each Partnered Team Bundle gives fans a way to rep their favorite orgs in-game. Every package includes:
- A Deadpool skin wearing that team’s jersey
- A unique spray
- A mood
- An avatar
- A nameplate
- An emoji
NetEase has not announced prices for the bundles yet.
Money for teams, not just pixels
The sales are designed to directly benefit the partnered organizations. Revenue from these team bundles will be split among the partner teams, and NetEase also promises comprehensive support for the esports partners during the season.
