Season 7.5 is almost here
Marvel Rivals is not exactly known for taking a break. Season 7.5 is now closing in, and the next wave of content is expected to send players back to New York City, where Mayor Fisk is causing the usual amount of trouble.
This time, the roster is getting help from Black Cat, the long-running Marvel antihero who is also, inconveniently, one of Spider-Man’s most persistent complications. She is expected to join the game as a playable character, which should at least make the city-wide mess a little more stylish.
Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 release date
Season 7.5 of Marvel Rivals is expected to begin on April 17, 2026.
That lines up with the usual rhythm of the game’s seasonal updates. Season 7 has already been fairly active, starting with White Fox shaking up the Strategist meta. NetEase also did not burn through all of its content at once, choosing to add a new map partway through the season.
That map, Lower Manhattan, brought the time stream back to New York City and kept the season’s story moving. Because apparently one city is never enough trouble on its own.
Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 start time
NetEase has not officially posted a launch time for Season 7.5 yet. Based on the game’s regular update schedule, it is expected to go live at 3 AM PT on April 17, 2026.
If that timing holds, here is when players in other regions should be able to jump in:
- 6 AM ET
- 11 AM BST
- 12 PM CEST
- 7 PM JST
- 8 PM AEST
As always with a new season, the real draw is the reset. A fresh update usually means a new meta, new events, and new cosmetics for players to chase before everyone settles into arguing about balance again.
For now, Season 7.5 is shaping up to be the next major checkpoint for Marvel Rivals, with Black Cat leading the headline changes and New York once again taking center stage.
