Pokimane explains why Myna Snacks faded away
Pokimane has finally addressed the quiet disappearance of her cookie brand, Myna Snacks, two years after its launch. The Twitch streamer, whose real name is Imane Anys, first announced the business in November 2023. Its debut product, Midnight Mini Cookies, arrived with the usual startup confidence and the less usual promise of being gluten free, GMO free, and a “good source of Vitamin D.”
The tiny cookies also drew attention for their price at launch. After that, the brand largely went silent. In the time since, Myna’s website and social media accounts were wiped from the internet, which naturally prompted a lot of wondering from fans. Because nothing says “healthy snack brand” like vanishing without a trace.
Pokimane finally spoke about it in a TikTok video posted on April 1, 2026, where she reviewed the lessons she says she has learned from her major business ventures.
Why she stepped back
In the video, Poki said Myna was likely “winding down” and explained that she stepped away because her role as a creator did not mesh well with being tied to the brand.
“Unfortunately, the launch for that did not go as we planned,” she said. “It taught me that what it means to be a content creator is very, very different from what it means to be a business owner.
“There are certain things that most businesses can get away with that you cannot do if you are creator-backed. As soon as I realized, ‘Oh, maybe this isn’t the right time for me to be the face of a product,’ I stepped away from the company and I let them continue operating as they pleased.
“I didn’t take any profits, though it was making money, but that would go straight to staff or other investments.”
She said the segment starts at 2:19 in the video.
Pokimane added that she has also made no money from OfflineTV’s equity, saying that she and the other co-founders never sold the company. She also offered a warning about starting businesses with “people you love,” arguing that those relationships can make the work more complicated than it needs to be.
Another business exit, this time with a payout
The streamer also said she sold her stake in RTS, the management and consulting company she co-founded in 2021. Her reason was straightforward enough: she “wanted to get managers that were in another industry.”
“It just didn’t feel right being part of a management company that I wasn’t actually getting management from,” she explained.
Unlike the Myna situation, Pokimane said the RTS sale brought in “at least six figures.” A rare business update where the ending is both clear and, for once, not hidden behind a deleted website.
